How should I walk down the aisle?
I asked this question once before, but I don’t think I was clear enough and I’d like some more answers.
We are getting married outside at a vineyard. The bridal room is about 50ft away from the start of the aisle. Once I walk out of the bridal room everyone will be able to see me. I hired a harpist to play the ceremony music. I am having the bridal party walk down first and the harpist will play pachabelle cannon. When I walk down I am going to have her play the traditional Bridal march. Should I have her start to play it as soon as I walk out of the bridal room or wait until I get to the aisle?
The aisle is about 60ft long I am nervous that I will be walking too long with “all eyes on me”
What do you think??
Yes my father is escourting me.
I realize it seems dauntingly long- but it won’t feel that way in the moment, it will fly by! And you really should eat it up- this is your red carpet moment and of course the most romantic part of the entire event.
I think having the harpist begin as soon as you walk out of the bridal room, that way once you reach the aisle, all will be standing in anticipation. Much better build up and oh so sweet.
