what is your favorite speech that a bible thumper ever gave you?
some of my favorites are :
‘if you can’t see god it doesn’t mean is not there… can you see the wind?’
‘you can’t do that because it doesn’t say in the bible’ (drinking alcohol)… really it doesn’t say in the bible???
‘you can’t listen to any music but gospel, if it doesn’t worship the lord, it worships the devil’

I lost it and started laughing. My friend elbowed me in the side and the rest of the audience glared at me. After the preacher’s spasm on stage this chick came up to me all shocked and said something like “Oh my god! You believe in God?!” I just smiled and slowly made my way to the free pizza o.O When I was finished with my pizza I went to throw it away and did that little cross gesture thing after it landed in the trash, which caused me to recieve another nervous elbow from my friend. She said “They’re Christian, not Catholic!”, I responded “Dude… it’s pizza.” I just stared blankly most of the time, trying to control the giggle fits.
I didn’t think it would hurt to observe other religions than my own… but that event was… well… it was kinda… sad.
