Was Bob Marley part of the Twelve Tribes of Israel?
Please don’t bother answering if you don’t have anything to offer. I like Bob’s music no matter his religion but I’m just curious. I know that for most of his life he was a Rastafarian and worshipped His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie I, but I have seen many places claim that he was part of the Twelve Tribes of Israel, which is a sect of the Rastafarians but with one major theological difference, the denial of the worship of Haile Selassie I. I am just curious so please no hate saying things like, “Who cares about his religion.” and things of that nature please. Thanks.
He tried very hard to trace his ancestry back to Africa. I don’t know if he finally came to a concrete answer as to his blood relationship with the Twelve Tribes. He certainly was related spiritually…
